Why my baby struggle so much when I start to breastfeed him?

I have a 4 weeks old baby. I am wondering why he will struggle so much, with his arms swinging in front of his face and legs kicking, when beginning to get him to latch on. He will only be settling when I have to force him to focus on the latch on and feeding. Anyone experience the same?

1. My son was like that....try holding him in a different position.
2. Babies are used to being held tight consider being in the womb. Babies need to be swaddled firmly, they feel safe then. So why not wrap baby in a rug, depending on weather, a light cotton for summer and warm for winter, before feeding. He will feel safe and contented when put on the breast.
