How healthy is this attraction to a man who leaves 28 days at a time to be on a tugboat...?

I've met this guy who is a tugboat captain and leaves town for 28 days at a time. I find him intriguing and seem to be drawn to the whole "yearning" thing with men... All I can think of is all the things I could do for him while he is gone and then the re-kindling we would do when he's home... Why is it that some women enjoy the "hunt" and will long for a man - even when other men are everywhere?

distance does make the heart grow fonder...and the freedom is nice while they are gone and the rekindling is always fun :D
Its the ultimate blend of companionship v. passion... that phase in a relationship where you are still trying to get the other person and you have great fun times is usually the most emotionally satisfying. Well when you are longing to be with someone who you also have a semi-solid relationship with, that get deepened and we can have out cake and eat it too
