What do you believe all people should strive for in thier lives?

I've once heard that all people should strive for balance in all things. I liked that. What else should all people strive for in their lives? Please use your own words and try not to make it about religion per se.

I believe all people should let all people decide for themselves as long as people aren't hurting other people physically then we should let them be, no matter how wacky their lifestyles are other then that, i think every person has to find their own personal strive in life, i don't believe in a universal answer, because we all have different needs
4. Happiness. True, inner happiness, not that which is derived from the acquisition of property or status.

6. we have been given the ability to reason which gives us a moral obligation to develop this ability and thereby work toward our full potential we should also question everything we see and hear; especially cultural and religious truths that contradict the three absolute truths of equality, freedom, and justice to realize that everyone is equal from the standpoint that none of us is guaranteed tomorrow to realize that all of humanity has value, whether a person is cognitive of it or not
7. they try to have a good life in the past ,present,and future
8. What ever they want or need or wants to be, they could have different motives thorough their life times, as long as they do what makes them happy and fulfilled, people should strive for them.

10. To fully sublimate their egos, which I'm imagining amounts to impressing one or more people of importance. That is, to find love, and make your kinks work for you in finding it. It is our nature to want love and it is our egos where the hunger for love resides.
